 THE BIG EASY ON A MONDAY NIGHT

The scheduling Gods did us a favor this year. The Eagles will be going to New Orleans for a classic Monday Night battle, and you do not want to miss it. We are offering 3 or 4 night packages. What is going on down there? Let’s start by saying there are TWO major sporting events in Louisiana that weekend (more on that later). You will be arriving Friday or Saturday in New Orleans and a shuttle will pick you up and take you to your choice of hotels (either Hilton Garden Inn or the Wyndham Barrone Plaza). Bourbon St is only a few blocks away. In the mood to gamble, Harrah’s hotel and casino is also walking distance from our hotel. As for the night life, all you need to do is walk on Bourbon St and you will find nightlife that rivals any city in the US. There will be 3 for 1 drink specials at several locations. As I stated earlier, there is another BIG game in town. Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide will be an 1hr up the road to take on LSU on Saturday night in a rematch of last year’s national title game. LSU is looking for revenge against the Crimson Tide and we will be offering a separate package up to Baton Rouge to see Alabama take on LSU. It is very likely ESPN game day will be there. Even if you choose to stay in New Orleans, the atmosphere will rival a SUPER BOWL. Now for the game PHILLY cares about, the Eagles will take on Drew Brees and the Saints On ESPN’s Monday Night Football at 730pm Central time. We will be offering a 3hr catered tailgate starting at 330pm. If you were in Miami last year, you know you do not want to miss it. We will have all the food and beverages you want. The Superdome is also walking distance from our hotel and tailgate. So after the game you can just walk a few blocks back to the hotel. Tuesday morning or afternoon we will have a shuttle take you back to the airport for your flight. |
